MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF DIRECTORS

JULY 20, 2018

The meeting of Directors of the Missouri Society of Enrolled Agents was called to order by President, Jessica Ammons, at 12:36 p.m. on July 20, 2018, at Camden on the Lake in the Harbor Ballroom.

Those in attendance were:

President, Jessica Ammons EA

Vice President, Charles Riggs EA

Secretary, Sheryl R. Gorman EA

Treasurer, Richard Ripper EA

Immediate Past President, Margaret Doedtman EA

Directors Present: Kathy Blood EA, Debbie Tolbert EA, Patricia Sanders EA, Lonnie Dean EA, James Ford EA, Bill Molini EA

Director Not Present: Serita Eldridge EA

REPORTS:

Secretary: The minutes from the previous meeting were distributed prior to meeting and motion was made by Kathy to accept, and seconded by Debbie, motion carried.

Treasurer and Budget: Treasurer, Chuck Riggs, presented the financial report and budget reports prior to the meeting. Maggie motioned to accept the report, Rich seconded, motion carried.

Committee descriptions and functions were discussed and those who want to be on committees will be in contact with Jessica.

It is projected that over $500 was raised in raffle, bingo and sales of items for our education fund.

There was discussion of a possible charitable project for the next annual meeting.

Booneville Fall Update is November 16, 2018 at Isle of Capri.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Liability insurance and liability insurance for board members proposal was presented, We will get 2 more quotes and have a meeting within 30 days to vote on the coverage.

NEW BUSINESS: None.

There being no further business to come before the board, Maggie motioned, and Patricia seconded that the meeting be adjourned, motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 1:17 p.m.

The next meeting will be announced by Jessica and will be a special meeting with regard to insurance coverage within 30 days. The next scheduled meeting will be September 20th at 7:00 via web conference call.
