MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF DIRECTORS
OCTOBER 27, 2017
The meeting of Directors of the Missouri Society of Enrolled Agents was called to order by President, Jessica Ammons, at 3:49 p.m. on October 27, 2017 at Isle of Capri in Booneville MO.
Those in attendance were:

Directors Present: Jim Talbott, EA; Margaret Doedtman, EA, Karen Arredando, EA; Kathy Blood, EA; Debbie Tolbert, EA; Serita Eldridge, EA;
Not in Attendance were: Director: Julie Myers EA
REPORTS:
Secretary: The minutes from the previous meeting were distributed prior to meeting, Debbie Tolbert moved to accept, Patricia Sanders seconded motion carried.
Treasurer: The financial report was presented, approximately $8,500 in fees collected from convention were not on the report, the expenses were close the the projection. Kathy Blood moved to accept report, Margaret Doedtman seconded, motion carried.
Membership Committee: Jim Talbott reports that Drake Update Schools are expecting us to be present. Kathy and Sheryl will be at Branson, we need St. Louis covered as well. There was discussion about soliciting vendors to our future events and most definitely for our annual convention. Discussion was tabled until the next meeting.
Education Committee: Ideas for speakers have been obtained. Options need to be discussed. Discussion is tabled until the next meeting.
Convention Committee: Patricia Sanders reported that locations for future conventions are being discussed and explored.
Special Projects: Serita Eldridge will have information ready for Drake Updates and will get it to those who need it.
Government Relations: Nothing to report.
Budget: Nothing to report.
Audit: Nothing to report.
Communications: Our group Facebook page is doing well, FB Live meetings were discussed and yes we can do that! The MOSEA web page is being updated with new material.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS: The MOSEA Annual Registration with the MO Secretary of State has been done and Sheryl Gorman has been reimbursed for the expense.
NEW BUSINESS: None
OLD BUSINESS: None
With no other business coming before the meeting, Richard Ripper made the motion to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Serita Eldridge. The motion carried and the meeting was officially adjourned at 4:24 p.m.
